Tim came into being, the son of Andrea and Albert Peck, early one Friday morning in 1981... Friday November 13th to be exact. After a rather uneventful two years residing in an apartment in Dudley, MA, Tim and his family moved to their new home in rural Thompson, CT. At a young age, Tim's grandfather gave him an electronic organ, on which Tim learned how to play by ear. From then on, Tim began to develop his musical talents. He tried taking piano lessons at age 6, but hated them and quit. He continued learning to play by ear until he was about 9, when he finally began formal study with Cindy Dube. During this time, Tim was beginning to play for the Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish children's choir. After two years of Mrs. Dube, Tim switched to Richard Mueller, Tim's current classical piano instructor. Tim attended St. Anne's Catholic school in Webster, MA, K-8th grade. After graduation, Tim attended the Pomfret School in Pomfret, CT. While at Pomfret, Tim had the opportunity to travel to Cambridge, MA and study Jazz piano with Peter Cassino at the Longy School of Music. He has a younger sister, Kimberly, age 13, and a younger brother, Daniel, age 9. Kimberly is an active vocalist, and will be applying to the Pomfret School. Daniel is a budding pianist and percussionist. Being the oldest, Tim has never had his own room, something that has always caused Tim much distress. Even so, he loves his siblings. They have done many fun and interesting things together. |
